Susanna was very good at building rapport from the beginning and that made feel very comfortable... she provided me with new perspectives that gave me more clarity on the path that I choose to follow, in pursuit of my career goals.

Hi I’m Susanna and I’m a coach and therapist-in-training. I also work in financial services to help leaders and teams to collaborate and innovate to help address climate change.

Sometimes it can be tricky to make a change in your life or work by yourself. We can all get stuck in our heads, going round the same hopes, fears, plans and ideas without ever quite moving into action. Lots of things can hold us back, and a conversation with a professionally trained and experienced coach can really help break through the barriers - whether real or perceived!

Find your clarity & confidence.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership where we make an agreement to focus together on your agenda, so that you can find clarity, commitment and confidence to make changes in your life and work. A successful coaching relationship will enable you to explore possibilities, shift your mindset, transform your relationships and accelerate the change you desire.

Rarely do we give ourselves a regular space to focus on our own hopes, dreams, values or ambitions, and coaching offers just that. You get to be completely in charge of what we explore: I follow your agenda, and bring a commitment to listening fully and offering prompts from my intuition, reflect back what I am hearing, and share options for creative approaches to tapping into your inner wisdom.

I love to work with people who want to make a difference, to find their own contribution that aligns with their unique strengths and values.

I bring what I have learned over the years about how change happens in the corporate sector, my counselling skills and experience, as well as coaching.

Is it like therapy?

Coaching is not therapy as we do not delve into experiences from the past, address trauma or tackle mental health problems.

I believe we bring all of who we are to our workplace whether we realise it or not, and coaching does create a space for you to explore thoughts, emotions and even embodied responses to your challenges. Sometimes people find it strange at first to talk about their feelings at work! What I can say is that I have coached senior bankers working in an international corporate context and they have definitely relaxed into it and reaped the benefits.

Coaching can help you to become more self-aware, more confident and less emotionally reactive in the face of challenges.

What can coaching help with?

Some examples of the types of challenges clients bring to coaching include:

  • Exploring their own style in a new leadership role

  • Dealing with anxiety or confidence issues

  • Seeking a promotion or clarifying career next steps

  • Re-connecting to core purpose

  • Making sense of a lot of rapid life & work changes

  • Handling stress and wellbeing under pressure

  • Making a career pivot or returning to work after children
